A modo de curiosidad, la presente moneda de 8 reales mexicanos 1875-Mo (Stack Bowers auction January 13, 2023; lot nr 21368) , presente no solo un doble resello de llave sino también resellos chinos de tipo "Gong" "Feng". NO se sabe cual de los dos tipos de resellos fue grabado primero pero testimonia el comercio existente entre América y China en aquella época. El precio de venta fue de 5280 USD.
I just want to let you know that my new book “HISTORY OF THE COIN CIRCULATION IN CUBA” (Roberto Menchaca García, Editorial Punto Rojo Libros, 2023) has just been published.
The book is the continuation of an earlier work published in 2013, "La moneda cubana en circulación" (“The Cuban coins in circulation”), and delves into the study of the historical context in which the various types of coins have been produced in the country. To this aim, an extensive bibliographic research was carried out, covering inter alia numerous newspapers and magazines, official reports and the information contained in the archives of the Numismatic Museum of Havana.
The first chapter is devoted to the general study of the coinage made in each of the periods, that the Cuban history can be divided. The following chapters detail the characteristics of the various coins produced since 1915 till present. The coinage produced on behalf of the National Institute of Tourism and the convertible currency are discussed in a subsequent chapter.
The book further includes annexes containing detailed information on other coins of great significance in the history of Cuba, the use of countermarks in the island as well as the technical specifications of the coins discussed and the legal provisions authorising the coinage.

libro incluye una lista completa de todas las monedas cubanas que han circulado
en la isla desde 1915 hasta 2012, con abundantes detalles técnicos así como
referencias a los distintos períodos históricos en que las mismas fueron
acuñadas.
Contiene
además un capítulo dedicado a todas las emisiones de monedas por parte del
instituto de turismo (INTUR) y otro centrado en
las emisiones de moneda convertible realizadas en la isla hasta el 2012.
Finalmente
incluye dos anexos dedicados respectivamente a las monedas acuñadas en
1897/1898 y a los patrones de 1870.

Además de las citadas "monedas" parece ser que se idearon otros métodos para publicitar la lucha armada contra Batista, que también tuvieron a las piezas numismáticas como protagonistas.
Se conoce una moneda de un centavo de 1953 correspondiente a la Serie del "Centenario del Nacimiento de José Martí" con una leyenda sobreimpresa en el reverso a golpe de punzón. La leyenda reza "26 de JULIO, L.O.M." haciendo referencia al Movimiento "26 de Julio" y a la consigna "Libertad o Muerte".
ADDENDUM
Recientemente ha salido a subasta (Daniel Frank Sedwick Treasure auction 35, lote 1290, junio 2024) un patrón de acuñación hecho en aluminio por la Central de Numismática y Medallística de México, que al igual que los casos referenciados en la publicación, no fueron aceptados por las autoridades cubanas. Una pieza similar, hecha en plata, fue subastada también por la Casa Sedwick (Treasure auction 34, lote 1271, noviembre 2023) y por ello solo se conocen dos piezas con este diseño. Ninguna de estas piezas aparece descrita entre los fondos de la Colección Permanente del Museo Numismático cubano. Ambas piezas de veinticinco pesos fueron acuñadas en 1976, seis años después de haber sido labradas las monedas con la efigie del Comandante Guevara, que tampoco fueron aceptadas por las autoridades cubanas.
